Welcome to the Buddhi Yoga blog. This is a community based blog on ideas and topics that relate to all things that enhance our life through meditation and ideas to help us in this world. With all of the stress of our environment on us and our fellow animals we are going to have a journey where we can choose different paths and products that will help us relieve our stresses of these times.
Buddhi yoga is the highest stage of yoga. This term is translated as “yoga of consciousness” and denotes a system of methods for developing the consciousnesses. Buddhi yoga allows one to traverse the final stages of the personal evolution.
Within the frame of the “eight-fold path” of the Patanjali’s yoga (yama, niyama, asana, pranayma, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, samadhi), buddhi yoga represents the content of the eighth stage. There are indications to it in the Bhagavad Gita.
I like to think of this passage as the way of John Lilly and his beautiful discourse of dolphins.
I have found this you tube video to start out the site. I know that many of you have spoken the cadences of the dolphin or porpoise. Please share your video’s with this and for others any being that you see alive and take a video, place it here and we will watch the movements of the celestial sphere.
Here is my contribution to the dolphin breath,
There is simply no other discipline quite like yoga because it utilized the body, mind and spirit, all in one practice. Yoga is indeed a spiritual path that is based on ancient sacred philosophy, but one does not need to make an ethical decision when practicing yoga, rather finding your own path is wholly accepted. The holistic benefits of yoga are suitable for the young or old, sick or well, with any religious background. The secrets of yoga are inwardness, concentration, and purification of mind and body with cleansing thoughts and food. Indian philosophy states that within man is the spirit that is the center of everything. Internal equilibrium is the basis and the ground for the higher illumination.
People everywhere are looking for ways to meditate, learn how to make time to enjoy life, keep our relationships positive and constructive and to take the risk to enjoy life to it’s fullest.
Hopefully, you will find the articles and posts about Yoga and some of the other techniques, such as breath techniques and stretching practices. These are great for buddhi yoga for mind, body and spirit
